Lots of Love Valentines Wreath

January 24, 2014By 24 Comments

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. The day of LOVE!! Everyone needs some love in their lives and this is a great day to give and receive it 🙂

To celebrate and show some love to everyone, I repurposed Mom’s Resolution Wreath to make a Valentines Wreath.

Lots of Love Valentine's Wreath

First, I stripped it down to the silver ribbon and then wrapped the wreath in a red, furry scarf we found on sale for $2.00! Bargain!

It’s the tube type of scarf that you can use as a cowl, hood, scarf, etc. so the ends are a bit wider than the scarf. This cause a few problems, so it took a few tries to get a look I liked. DSCN1174 DSCN1181 DSCN1207

Finally situation and pinned down to the wreath form.

Next I used a pink velvet belt from a old child’s dress to add a bow to the side. Looking good!

I borrowed the Love tag from the Resolute Wreath and added it across from the bow. What’s Valentine’s day without a little love? I secured it with a heart quiliting pin – just piling on the love here!

ohhh ahhh glitter hearts!! Must add these! A fun dollar store find.

I scattered hearts in all three colors around the wreath until it was perfect!

Silver really looked good on the red fur scarf!

One last repurposed item, this little heart pin we picked up off of Yardseller.

Finished! Sometimes less is more and I think this wreath is perfect!
