Hey everyone! Kristina here. I don’t know if any of you know what a Moogle is. Allow me to elucidate! ^^ A moogle is a fun creature from the Final Fantasy video game series. My husband is big on it and got me a cute little moogle for Christmas that I love. Then I saw the Final Fantasy Advent children movie and she had a great BIG moogle and I wanted one like that! Not finding one I made my own and thought I would share my fun Amigurumi Moogle Pattern with everyone:

moogle from Advent children

Materials:
I used Pipsqueak yarn, so far I have only found it at Walmart. It is super soft! It took me 5 skeins in all for the whole thing.
A bit of pink cotton for the nose
An H hook for the pipsqueak and wings
An F hook for the cotton
Bulky purple yarn for the wings

Wings:
I found these wings on deviant art (click for the pattern)
I made them with a thick acrylic yarn and the H hook.

Nose:
He has a big nose so with some pink cotton and an F hook I made:

Round 1: Ch 9, sc in 2nd ch from hook and even across, 3 sc in last chain space (stitch marker the 2nd of the three stitches for later), flip it upside down so you are working back across the bottom, work even across, 2 sc in last space (stitch marker the 2nd sc for later) and attach to first sc.
Round 2- 3: ch 2, sc even around, 2 sc in first stitch markered space, even around, 2 sc in second stitch markered space, 1 sc, attach to first sc of round.
Round 4 – 5: ch 2 and sc even around.
Stuff and sew and finish off leaving a long tail to sew to face.

Once all your parts are done its assembly and facial feature time. Come back to see how I put mine all together. Thanks for hanging out with me and making a fun stuffie, remember Final Fantasy does not belong to me in any way, please support Square Soft and stuff.

Have fun making your own Moogle to hug and love and squeeze!!
Kristina

P.S. Check back next week to see assembly!
